The Board of Library Trustees is composed of six active and interested members whose collective role is to oversee Library policies, funds, and administration. Each year, two members are elected for three-year terms.
The MFPL Board is presently made up of the following members:
- Marianne DeCosta, Chairperson
- Robert Walter, Treasurer
- Bette Roberts, Historian
- Mary Magee, Clerk
- Robert Atkinson, Building and Grounds
- Elizabeth Theriault, Technology
The Board meets regularly on the third Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. in the Library's Local History Room. All meetings are open, and the public is invited to attend. Special meetings are posted as needed. Citizens interested in contacting the Board may write via the MFPL's address or contact members via email.
