Library Cards
Mattapoisett Free Public Library will issue a library card to any adult presenting a valid photo identification and completing a library-card application. Individuals ages 5-17 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the library-card application.
A library patron must present his or her card for any library services.
Any card-holder may choose to have his or her card held permanently at the library. In general, children’s cards are held at the children’s circulation desk and adults’ cards are held at the adult circulation desk.
A lost card may be replaced for a charge of $3 for a plastic card plus barcode, or $1 for barcode only.
